The Béres Tokaji Dry Szamorodni is the result of the best vintage of the decade being the big-brother aged in oak barrels of the successful 2003 wines of the estate. Szamorodni means as its born and is usually a harvest of healthy (non botritized) and botrytized grapes. Light golden colour some botrytis notes of tropical fruit on the nose yet some biscuit and lees character as well. Dry on the palate great density fine acidity, beside the stone fruit there is plenty of nuttiness and almond flavours, good finish and a lovely structure, Good starter as its close to a “fino” type but with more acidity.

Drink now or keep it for 5-8 years. Great starter, fantastic with tapas like dishes or stews. Goes well with meat dishes too Recommended drinking temperature: 11-13 °C.
