Dúzsi Tamás Kékfrankos (Blaufrankische) 2016 (Szekszárd)
This is Dúzsi’s classic, traditional Kékfrankos from their Sióagárd–Leányvár hillside, which is a rich, nutritious, and very well looked after terroir in the Szekszard region.
Kékfrankos (Blaufrankische) is a classic Hungarian variety. It is from an early harvest, that took place beginning of October. They have tried to preserve the fruity character of the wine, by only maturing in an oak barrel (not barrique) for a few months.
Raspberry in its colour, and rich black cherry in its bouquet. A lovely medium bodied red wine to represent a classic Kekfrankos (Blaufrankische) taste form Szekszard.
