Description
Vilmos Thummerer from Eger is a well known and talented winemaker. He was voted Winemaker of the Year in 1995 and his winery was awarded as Winery of the Year in 2011.
The wine’s name suggests, it was originally made kosher wine that’s why it reflects a unique taste. The residual sugar from the grapes is combined with a low alcohol content. Made from 25% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Blauburger, 20% Kadarka and 15% Turán which is a Hungarian grape variety. Medium bodied wine, with tense aromas of blacurrant, spicy flavours & vibrant acidity. It is very popular, especially among women.
Goes well with desserts made from nut or hazelnut and cakes made from red berries. Recommended drinking temperature: 16-18°C.
