Hagymási winery was established in 1999. They mixed their wine making knowledge with the new and modern structures to create a successful winery. They tried to use their knowledge emerging vineyards together, planting new grape varieties, building the complete, modern system from grape processing to bottling. The size of our vineyards now reaches 27 hectares and consists of 3 bigger areas.
The most important varieties they work with; Welsh Riesling, Yellow Muscat, Cserszegi Fűszeres, Rhein Riesling, Chardonnay, Kadarka, Menoir, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
As a result of the terroir, their wines are unique, full bodied, having mineral character and keeping their fruitiness for a long time.
Their wine cellar is situated in Eger, where from the grape processing to bottling, everything is done by the family and with the help from their colleagues. Hagymási winery supplies some of the hypermarkets and supermarkets in Hungary as well as wine shops and top restaurants.
