Figula Zenit (semi-dry) 2008 (Balaton)
Out of stock
Out of the early ripening variety Zenit this is an off-dry white wine. Fresh on the nose, rather floral and with a hint of grapy notes. The residual sugar rounds the wine up and makes it an easy to enjoy wine. The winery made its first Zenit in 1998, light, fruity white wine. The Zenit grape is a cross between Ezerjó (Thousand Good) and Bouvier, done 1951 by Ferenc Király in Pécs. Fairly well yielding and usually having good must degrees, while picked at the right times it also retains a lot its acidity.
Could be up to the task for Hungarian dishes season with paprika (grained red pepper/chilli), also some sausages. Recommended temperature 11-13 C°
