Bolyki “Bull’s Blood” Bikaver 2016
A medium-full bodied dry red cuvee, of Kekfrankos, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Zweigelt, Blauburger & Portugieser blend from the Eger wine region.
This is a classic blend from Eger-based winemaker Janos Bolyki. Notes of black cherry fruit, blackberries and good acidity on the palate. This Bull’s Blood has a deep colour and has been fermented and aged in 500 litre oak barrels.
This wine is recommended for those who prefer: Full-bodied, silky-smooth red wines like Rhone Valley reds. Also ideal for fans of warm spice, rich stews and hot chocolate.
This bulls blood matches perfectly with: warm, spicier foods, such as lasagne, lamb ragu, spicy goulash or sirloin steak.
Alc content 12.5% ABV.
