Dúzsi Tamás Graboc Cuvée 2011
Graboc Cuvée – a multi awarded, classic, full bodied Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
Graboc is a nearby village of Szekszard, and is considered a holy place by the Serbians. The label depicts the Orthodox monastery in Graboc, where monks cultivated grapes from the Görögszó vineyard. There is also a Serbian poem on the label in Hungarian translation.
Opaque ruby red wine, with herbal aromas of celery & tobacco leaves on the nose. Hints of spiciness & pepperiness of black currant are also present in this complex beauty. Dry on the palate, with dominant taut tannins. The full body and potent acidity formulates an intense, yet very elegant wine with persistent spicy finish.
Aged in oak barrel, and bottled in February 2012.
Special pair with game dishes or dishes with a heavier sauce.
