Heumann Terra Tartaro is a powerful, round and full bodied red wine from the well known Villany wine region. A Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, complete with velvety tannins.
Complex fragrances of sweet spices, black truffles, mocha, dark chocolate, black cherry, and cassis. On the palate this wine showcases rich fruit, firm tannins, black berries, chocolate, spices with a touch of tobacco. A powerful red, that is velvety and elegant.
The Cabernet Sauvignon – being the base wine – is hand-harvested from 27 year old vines. The final blend is partially matured in 225 litre oak barriques and 500 litre oak barrels, also adding beautiful touch of oak and wood to the wine.
Heumann Terra Tartaro is recommended to consume with Beef short ribs, portobello mushrooms with butter and garlic, braised venison, beef burgers or BBQ lamb ribs.
