Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos 2013
Dominium range is Pannon Tokaj’s premium wine range, therefore this wine has been treated with special care.
This 6 Puttonyos Tokaji Aszu is a blend of 3 main grape varieties : 33-33-33 % of Furmint, Hárslevelű and Zéta grapes.
The 400 years old wine making method (with minor modern technology also involved) guarantees the highest possible quality.
Pannon Tokaj’s 6 Puttonyos Aszú is terrific, beautifully floral, with obvious dried apricot, honey, peach, orange peel notes, backed by elegant mineral. A whopping 160 grams of sugar is deftly balanced out by the bracing acidity.
This is a luxurious sweet wine but it doesn’t tire the palate. The fruits, the sugars and acidity presents in a harmonious frame. Layers of elegant botrytis, honey, tropical fruits, and fragrant citrus aromas on the nose, with a touch of plum & forest flowers. Defined apricot, vanilla, on the palate, with a lovely long finish.
Forever winner of wine competitions.
