Description

100% Kékfrankos (Blaufrankische), a medium bodied rosé, from Badacsony wine region at Lake Balaton. Harvested early and cool fermented in stainless steel tanks, to in order to retain fresh flavours and bright acidity.

Beautiful salmon coloured rosé, with scents of sweet strawberry, cherry & bright citrus fruits on the nose. It then leads to similarly fruity aromas of strawberry, pink grapefruit, ripe cherry, and a touch of raspberry on the palate.

This is an elegant, well balanced & young wine, with refreshing acidity, and tight structures, that brings summer to mind instantly.

Recommended with: lighter dishes such as turkey and lemon couscous, grilled fish or garlic chicken.

Cheese pairing: Creamy Havarti or Feta.
