Description
Father and son run this winery together. Cabernet Franc is one of the main grape varieties for producing high quality red wines in the most southern wine region of Hungary. The sub Mediterranean climate and soil makes this region perfect for Cabernet Franc.
This is one of the best wines from this winery, The Selection range is made by care smaller crop.
Following the de-stemming, this wine spent 2 months in stainless steel tanks and 20 month in Hungarian and French barrel, that was followed by 1 year bottle ageing in the darkness of the cellar.
It’s a deep and dark-coloured wine with fine tannin structure. Intensive spicy aromas of forest fruits, and ripe plum, with a hint of chocolate and rum on the nose. Forest Fruits also on the palate, driven by well balanced acids and tannins to establish the roundness.
Goes well with beef, pork and game dishes. Recommended drinking temperature: 16-18°C.
