Description
Floral scents on the nose at a less mature stage, while its aromas show more yellow fruits when aged. Extremely mineral on the palate; an exciting and wonderful terroir wine. This wine becomes rounder and deeper, following a 2-3 year bottle ageing. Perfect choice for those unfamiliar with the variety, but we also recommend it to those looking for something unique from the volcanic wine region of Badacsony.
Kéknyelű (Blue Stalk) is an ancient Hungarian grape variety, that remains to be found only in Badacsony today. The variety was named after the blueish-reddish colour of its petioles.
Recommended to consume with Carp fillet fried in butter, served with a marrow pottage seasoned with dill and chervil
Alc: 12.5%
