Babits Tokaji Furmint 2023

Description

100% Furmint from Babits Winery. This quality dry white wine is unbeatable in its own right. It encompasses everything that characterises a classic Tokaji Estate Furmint from the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region, AKA Tokaj Wine Region.

These inherent characteristics includes the barrel ageing in Zemplen-oak, the minerality on the nose, the full body, and crisp backbone. In particular, the barrel ageing in Zemplen oak softens the edges of the wine. It lends a silkier, smoother, lighter character to the wine.Yet, the full-flavoured body, and fresh acidity makes this wine to stand out. The careful wine making process and the unmistakable aromas of Tokaji Furmint creates perfect harmony of the taste and aromas.

Under ideal growing conditions, this wine benefits from the minerality and zeolite content of the terroir. Also, thanks to the right angle of the sunshine to the vineyard, it results in optimal sugar content of the grapes. Babits Winery makes this wine  using only healthy grapes. This careful hand selection ensures exceptional fruity aromas both on the nose and on the palate.
