100% Kékfrankos, a Classic, traditional local variety from Sióagárd–Leányvár hillside of Duzsi Tamas Winery
Kékfrankos (Blaufrankische) is a classic Hungarian variety, and this wine is from a vineyard which is particularly a rich, nutritious, and very well looked after terroir in the Szekszard region.
It is from an early harvest, that took place beginning of October. They have tried to preserve the fruity character of the wine, by only maturing in an oak barrel (not barrique) for a few months.
Raspberry in its colour, and rich black cherry in its bouquet. A lovely medium bodied red wine to represent a classic Kékfrankos (Blaufrankische) taste from Szekszard.
